The Rega Elys 2 is an incredible cartridge. It’s most commonly sold with the Planar 3 turntable, helping to make that record player the absolute legend that it is. We also recommend the Elys 2 as an upgrade for Planar 2 owners. As good as the Carbon cartridge is, the Elys 2 will open up a new world of detail from your vinyl collection, allowing you to hear what the Planar 2 is truly capable of.
Sound Advice
While it will sound fantastic from the first needle drop, give the cartridge 25-50 hours to sound its best, after the suspension has broken in.
