A Significant Upgrade
Fitted as standard on all Rega Planar 1, Planar 1 Plus, Planar 2, Planar 3, and Planar 6 models, the Advanced EBLT is also available separately as an upgrade and replacement belt for any Rega Planar turntable.
Each belt is moulded on Rega’s custom tool using a unique blend of materials. Then, the belt is cryogenically frozen and barrelled to remove any excess flash in order to achieve perfect cross-sectional roundness, critical for accurate speed and stability. Under normal use and conditions, the lifespan of the Advanced EBLT is 50% longer than the previous design.
When measuring weight peak wow and flutter, the previous belt design measured at 0.253%, whereas the new Advanced EBLT measures at 0.162%.
