Driver for speed
The new Serie S models deliver faster speed, with greater dynamic attack and fine resolution. This has been achieved in large part through the advances made in the main driver which is now lighter and more supple. A redesigned suspension allows the driver to travel further and reach deeper to resolve details in the lowest frequencies. The passive downward-firing driver has also been improved and is now 40% stiffer and lighter, extending the capabilities of the main active driver.
Amplifier for accuracy
Not only are the new Class D amplifiers in the REL Serie S subwoofers more powerful, they are also more transparent and faithful to the musical signal, using premium polypropylene capacitors like those used in the high-end Reference series models. REL also uses a 100% analog filter system - a choice they have made once again for the ultimate goal of a truly natural sound.
