The policies below form part of the Terms and Conditions with respect to completing a purchase from Creative Audio. This includes purchases made in-person, over the phone, or online by email, our web site, or any third-party site.

Returns

Unopened products may be returned, with management’s consent, for a full refund within 30 days of the Invoice date.

Opened products may be returned, with management’s consent, within 7 days of the Invoice date provided they are returned in as-new condition with the original box, packaging, and accessories. A 20% restocking fee will apply to all opened returns. Note that opened headphones cannot be returned.

Exceptions

The following products cannot be returned or exchanged, whether unopened or opened:

  • Furniture (AV cabinets, component stands, speaker stands)

  • Gift Cards

  • Items marked as ‘Special Order’ on the Invoice

  • Clearance items, whether brand new or ex-demo

  • Used items

Shipping

If we shipped your purchase, you will be responsible for the shipping cost to return the product to our store. The product must be returned using a traceable shipping service, and we strongly advise you purchase shipping insurance.

Refunds

Within 5 business days of your return being received, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the requirements indicated above for unopened/opened returns. If it meets the requirements, the refund will be approved.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Where free shipping has been applied to an order, the original shipping fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

Delivery and/or installation costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If your product is delivered with visible damage to the box or some boxes are missing, you must have the shipper note the damage/shortage before signing for it. If, upon opening, the equipment is found to be damaged, non-functional due to damage, or DOA (dead on arrival), Creative Audio will pay for both return shipping for the damaged item as well as for the replacement product.
