You could listen to the smaller Oberon 5 and wonder what more does one need? However, listen to the larger Oberon 7 and it becomes apparent that, as good as its smaller sibling is, this model definitely delivers greater scale and depth, perfect for larger spaces or louder listening levels. We like the Oberon 7 because it doesn’t seem to lose any of the detail of the 5. It definitely offers greater bass depth and attack, and can play louder without strain. This is the perfect speaker if you like to listen at louder volumes or you’re building a home theater and want a full range dynamic experience.

Sound Advice

  • The DALI Oberon 7 speakers will sound great from the moment you start playing them, but they will sound even better after 50+ hours of use, when the drivers have been broken in.

  • Do experiment with placement of the DALI Oberon 7 with respect to the back wall. More distance from the back wall will ease congestion in the midrange and upper bass frequencies. We recommend a minimum of 12-18”.

  • A good quality speaker wire with banana plug connectors will give the DALI Oberon 7 the opportunity to sound its best.
