The design of the Luxman L-507Z is decidedly vintage retro, thanks in no small part to the large analog VU meters on the front panel. You’ll find their dance to the beat to be almost hypnotizing, helping you get completely lost in the music. A bold red LED volume level readout allows you to easily see the volume setting from the across the room. This portion of the display can be set to turn off after the adjustment is made, returning you back to the analog glow of the meters.

The vintage style continues across the front fascia of the Luxman L-507Z, with analog controls including tone and balance adjustment and, of course, volume control. Like all Luxman models, the L-507Z is crafted in their factory in Japan and it shows the same high degree of fit and finish of their flagship designs. Luxman’s LECUA1000 volume control uses an electronically controlled attenuation system that provides 88 fine steps, allowing you to dial in the perfect volume level, every time. The attention to detail in this circuit ensures that there is no loss in signal quality as your music is delivered from the preamplifier section the power amps.

The Luxman Integrated Feedback Engine System (LIFES) is the latest iteration of the company’s proprietary feedback technology. First seen in 2021 in their flagship M10X power amplifier, Luxman has incorporated LIFES into the power amp section of the L-507Z integrated amplifier. Through painstaking research and auditioning, Luxman has brought their technology to a new level of musical performance.
