Technology
Every element of the Luxman D-100 Centennial has been engineered to deliver the best musical performance, either from your physical discs or digital input sources. For discs, Luxman has designed an incredibly rigid box structure, mimimizing unwanted vibrations from entering or leaving the mechanism. Digital-to-analog conversion is handled by Luxman’s dual-mono implementation of the ROHM BD34302EKV DACs. The signal is then fed to the analog output circuit which features the LIFES 1.1 feedback engine, the latest iteration of this Luxman-exclusive technology. A highly regulate power supply delivers clean, stable power to all sections of the player, and two new clock circuits are implemented to prevent unwanted mistiming of critical digital data. All of this is in aid of one thing: music, glorious music delivered with emotion and soul like you’ve never heard before.
