Each of the three main components of this CD player have been engineered for exacting performance. Starting with the CD drive, which has been purpose-built for audio CD playback. Sitting on a solid steel base 3.2mm thick, the transport mechanism is isolated from external vibrations and its own vibrations are dampened so as not to affect the rest of the circuitry in the player. The digital signal is fed to the dual-mono DAC configuration and from there the signal is fed through Luxman’s proprietary analog section. Custom-made OFC wiring and circuit board traces designed for optimal signal flow ensure the purity of the musical signal. You can experience the benefits of the digital and analog sections of the D-03R by using its digital inputs for your other stereo digital sources.
