It’s a common dilemma - you have a small listening space but prefer the fuller sound of a floorstanding speaker. Focal’s Theva No. 2 represents a new form factor for the famous French manufacturer; with its 5” main drivers it comes in a wonderfully slim profile, perfect for smaller rooms. This may be our favourite model of the new Theva series. We love the balance of the Theva No. 2 and for small to medium sized rooms, we think it is just right. It’s classic, contemporary Focal: stunningly detailed but never clinical. This is a musically engaging speaker that wraps you up in its beautifully balanced sound. There’s really nothing to dislike in the Theva No. 2 and we’d say it’s the best speaker you’ll find in its price range and that perfectly proportioned cabinet will definitely put a smile on your face.

Sound Advice

  • The Focal Theva No. 2 will sound great right out of the box, but it will sound better after 50 - 100 hours of use.

  • For best results, we recommend a minimum of 12-18” of distance from the back wall to the back of the speaker.

  • We recommend high performance speaker cable to get the most out of your system.
