Hybrid Tweeter

Advanced tweeter technology originally designed for and implemented in DALI’s flagship Kore speaker, the Epikore series features the Evo-K Hybrid Tweeter module. Here, DALI’s large 35mm soft-dome tweeter is partnered with a wide-dispersion planar element. Combining wide dispersion with effortless detail, power, and precision, this unique tweeter configuration is what allows the Epikore series to deliver astonishing high-frequency performance. The finest detail - the air between the musicians, the sense of the space in which the recording was made - is reproduced along with full dynamic power - of a cymbal crash, for example - without ever becoming fatiguing.

Clarity Cone drivers

Large and powerful magnet assemblies featuring DALI’s patented second-generation SMC technology is the driving force behind the main drivers in the Epikore series of high-end speakers. Out in front you will find DALI’s signature paper and wood-fibre cone material, now enhanced with their new Clarity Cone technology. All of this is designed to minimize and dampen unwanted resonances along the cone’s surface. The only vibrations we want are the good vibrations - the music; any others will blur detail and muddy the sound. Painstaking attention to detail is what allows the DALI Epikore series to reproduce vocals and percussive instruments with lifelike realism, and to deliver deep and dynamic bass for full musical impact.
