Big sound. No bullshit.
The year was 1946 and in a tiny tin shed in Hope, Arkansas Paul W. Klipsch, described on the company web site as “genius, madman and maverick” designed and built by hand his first Klipschorn speaker. The goal? To bring live music into his living room. A legend was born and Klipsch became known as an audio pioneer and his speaker technologies would forever impact generations of music lovers.
At Creative Audio, we’re done with elitist audiophile attitudes. Music is for everyone, and everyone loves something different. We are proud to carry the Klipsch Heritage line of loudspeakers. We recognise that they won’t be to everyone’s taste, but here we lay down the Klipsch Heritage challenge: come and give them a listen and just try and resist the temptation to tap your toes. We promise you, even if you don’t take a set home, you’ll get it.
Taking audio classics from yesteryear and re-engineering them for a new generation of music lovers…that is the essence of the Klipsch Heritage series. Finally, a real alternative to the endless stream of me-too ‘audiophile’ speakers.
Q: Aren’t horn loaded speakers bright?
A: In a properly balanced system, we would call them forward rather than bright. Careful selection of the partnering amplifier is important and they may not work well in an overly live room (ie. one dominated by hard, reflective surfaces).
Q: How much power do Klipsch Heritage speakers need?
A: Thanks to their high sensitivity, you don’t need a lot of power to drive these speakers. You will only get out of them what you put into them and so partnering them with a high quality amplifier will reap huge sonic rewards.
