I am particularly impressed by the power of the amplifier; it certainly goes loud in a clean and controlled way. It also proves a very detailed design, with an insight into the music that most others here can’t hope to match

The Creative Audio Review

This is a fantastic integrated amplifier that will appeal to any listener. It has an MM phono input for the vinyl lover, and it’s actually a decent phono stage. You’ll always get a better result with an outboard phono stage, but as integrated models go this one is quite sweet. There’s a digital USB input as well for connection to your computer. Whatever you feed it, the signal will go through Musical Fidelity’s superb preamp stage and finally to its powerful power amp section. The M3si plays music with authority. It has the power to play loud but we also love how it pulls fine detail out of the music at low levels. This is a classy amp that has fun too. It’s why we love Musical Fidelity - you probably will too!

Sound Advice

  • The Musical Fidelity M3si will sound great right out of the box, but it will sound even better after 50-100 hours of use.

  • We always recommend quality speaker cable to get the most out of your amplifier.

Musical Fidelity M3si Technical Specifications

First, a word about specifications…

We provide this information from the manufacturer for those who want to know or who find it interesting. In our opinion, however, you shouldn’t pay too much heed to technical specs. How a component reacts to test tones in a lab bears little relation to how it will sound at home playing music, a far more complex and nuanced signal than any test tone. Knowledge is power and the best knowledge is not how a component ‘sounds’ to a computer, but how it sounds to you.
