A typical pre-wire will allow for audio and/or video in the kitchen, dining area, master bedroom, en suite, office, exercise room, guest bedroom, and outdoor areas. Each room can be controlled independently with in-wall digital keypads and/or remote control. Best of all: not a single wire will be visible and all components will be hidden - out of sight, out of mind.

Time is money, and additional retrofit labour time is easily avoided by running wires when all the walls and ceilings are exposed. Unsure whether you want in-ceiling speakers in the en suite? Pre-wire for them anyway - if you change your mind, it takes significantly less time to cut a hole and install a speaker, rather than fishing wire through finished walls and ceilings.
